Teacher note · Reading
Reading bleibt die Textbasis. Damit haben die folgenden Bereiche semantischen Anschluss und fühlen sich nicht wie lose Einzelteile an.
Part A · Critical Reading
The Dead Internet & AI Content
The “Dead Internet Theory” suggests that a large share of online content is no longer created by humans alone but is increasingly generated, reshaped and amplified by artificial intelligence, algorithms and automated accounts. What once sounded like an extreme internet myth has become more difficult to dismiss as AI tools have spread rapidly.
For education, this development raises serious questions. If students can no longer easily distinguish between authentic communication and synthetic content, digital literacy becomes more than the ability to use devices. It becomes the ability to question sources, identify manipulation and judge whether information is reliable, relevant and genuinely meaningful.
At the same time, the growing amount of AI-generated material does not automatically make the internet useless. Instead, it forces users to read more carefully, compare sources more critically and pay closer attention to language, intention and context.
Correct: Content created or heavily shaped by non-human systems
Lösung: Because AI tools have spread rapidly.
Musterlösung: It is relevant for schools because students must learn how to identify trustworthy sources and distinguish authentic communication from manipulated or AI-generated content.
